Basically, a proposal consists of :

• Chapter I - Introduction
• Problem Statement
• Purpose of study
• Research questions
• Hypothesis
• Significance of the study
• Limitations
• Chapter II - Literature Review
• Chapter III - Methodology
• Population & Sampling
• Research design
• Instrumentation

As Dr. Aziah said, Chapter I, II and II is not your chapter. Everything must be cited. Your own story or your opinion are not able to be in these chapters. Therefore, you need a lot of reading material and you MUST read it!
